Leah is originally from Delaware. Prior to becoming involved in physical therapy, Leah was a school teacher in Salisbury, MD and received her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education in 1993. While working in education, Leah became interested in health care and pursued physical therapy as a physical therapist assistant. Leah graduated from the Delaware Technical Institute’s Physical Therapy Assistants Program in 1999. Leah initially worked at Aqua care in Salisbury with a focus on myofascial release treatments and aquatic therapy. Leah began working at Eastern Shore Physical Therapy in 2006 and has continued to expand her knowledge and treatment skills of myofascial release and muscle energy techniques for treating patients with chronic pain and muscle dysfunction.
Leah’s hobbies include scrap booking, listening to music, reading and spending time with her daughters.
